Getting from Denver to Boulder
RTD Flatiron Flyer (Bus)
The Flatiron Flyer is the easiest public transit option, running along US 36 between Denver and Boulder. Several branches serve slightly different stops:
- FF1 – Denver (Union Station) to Boulder Station, all stops, ~56 min
- FF2 – Denver (Union Station) to Boulder Station, express service with fewer stops
- FF4 – Denver (Union Station) to Boulder Junction/Depot Square
- FF3 – Denver to Broomfield (connects partway along the corridor)
Buses run roughly every 30 minutes throughout the day, dropping to every 60 minutes late night. Fare is a flat regional rate; check RTD's Trip Planner or the Transit app for real-time schedules.
Direct from Denver International Airport (DIA)
If you're flying in and heading straight to Boulder, RTD's AB1/AB2/AB3 routes run directly between DIA and Boulder, skipping downtown Denver entirely.
Driving
Boulder is about 30–40 minutes from downtown Denver via US 36, traffic permitting. Rental cars are available at DIA and at several downtown Denver locations.
Rideshare/Taxi
Uber and Lyft operate throughout the Denver-Boulder corridor; expect a 30–45 minute ride depending on traffic and time of day.
We'll continue to update this page with festival-specific shuttle details as they're confirmed.
